X and Fluxbox :: koffice with fluxbox in dsl
is it possible to install koffice in dsl with fluxbbox as windowmanager?
It is possible, but since koffice was meant to be run in KDE, solving all of the dependancy issues would take a lot of time and hard drive space. Truthfully, it would not be worth installing. If you really want koffice, I would suggest going with a larger distro that is packaged with KDE (such as Mepis). Hope this helps.
Or use OpenOffice.org.
It's better, smaller, etc than Koffice.

what about abiword?
I tried both and abiword is still my choice for slow machines. On my faster machine I uninstalled koffice yesterday and do not want to reinstall it anymore.
koffice 1.3.5 exports .sxw but damages them. I was unable to open them with OO.
