Other Help Topics :: Where is the DSL version number?

Where is the version number for the DSL running on a system located? Also, when you download and burn DSL to CD-ROM, where is the version number? I'm asking because I don't know exactly which version I am using. Thanks!

See "System Stats" or some file in /usr/share/docs i think

I think the only way to see it on the cd is if you open up .../KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX
