I have tryed to install make with atp get it will not install because of coreutils. I set apt-get up and have install man ,gcc, xcdroast, you also can't install mc because of perl and you can't reinstall perl .
ok back to make when I tryed to Install it i also tryed to remove coreutils it ask to type in 'Yes do as i say!' when you do that it aborts can some tale me how to fix this so I can get make to work

Pretty sure this has already been mentioned on here, try a search. There is a topic about Apaceh (is there a better way than apt-get to install software, or something like that) that describes a problem & fix with perl, but I'm not sure if this is applicable in this instance.
