Other Help Topics :: mozilla in DSL

I installed Mozilla on DSL and hope it can receive and send mail from/to local users and within the local Linux system. I do not want to run any services like POP, imap, orSMTP.
I want to know if Mozilla can directly use sendmail or other Mta command without connecting to a SMTP port.
