Other Help Topics :: Does DSL support cheatcode from Knoppix

I want to hide the bootup message text for DSL. In Knppix, it can be done by using cheat code, e.g.

Boot: knoppix = splash

I tested it on DSL, it did not work in such a way. Does DSL support it or is there other way to do it?
