Other Help Topics :: Bootup problems

When I pass the options noapic nosmp to DSL on bootup, it complains about not being able to reset eth0 in 10 ms and goes into some sort of eternal loop. When I don't, it complains about something called scsi0 and /dev/cloop. Wouldn't it be possible to run DSL entierly out of RAM? It's small enough.
DSL can run out of ram, with the toram option, but I'm not sure that would solve your problems.
I have 256MB of RAM- isn't that enough? It's enough to run Knoppix without problems.
Yes, what makes you think it wouldn't be?
So if I have enough RAM, how do I fix all the problems?
