Other Help Topics :: multiple isos bootable from one cd/dvd?
is there a way to put several dsl isos and burn them on cd/dvd so that the different version can be selected and started at boot time in a menu or sth like that?
It's probably easier to put them in all in 1 track, modify the names of the files (KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX, minirt24.gz, linux24), and modify the bootloader.
You can use the cheatcodes knoppix_dir and knoppix_name to change the location of where KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX is searched.
hm...didn't quite get it...could you explain the modification of the boot loader?
Add a new entry for each version of DSL, like
label dsl3.4
kernel linux-dsl3.4
append ..the regular stuff.. knoppix_dir=dsl34
Then when you boot and the first word is dsl3.4 it boots the ver you specified in that entry..
