Other Help Topics :: I did not know where to put this post...
First of I haven't used DSL in a while.... since version.... 3.1 I think.... but when I did use it( near the end of my using of DSL) ... I started to frequently run out of space on my flashdrive for my backup... so DSL would give some pipe error when it tried to write my backup to my flashdrive because my flashdrive had run out of space. And all this was happened while it was trying to shutdown...
So it would stop the process and sit there for a bit and I cannot remember what happened next... I think that it continued the shutting down process... but I wanted to know if this has ever happened to anybody else?
-Sorry for the text being in a gigantic block I am typing this on my Nintendo DS Lite via the web browser I cannot do to much formatting. Also... I wasn't very sure where to put this question... so I am sorry if I put this in the wrong area-
I hope somebody answers my question...

I'm not quite sure what your question is. Are you wondering how to fix this problem? In such a situation the easiest thing to do would be to buy a bigger flash drive or execute the backup script from the command-line prior to shutdown so you know if you need to delete stuff.
Are you sure that the size of the flash drive is the problem? There are at least two other things that can cause this pipe error, as far as I know:
1) Unplugging and replugging the mounted flash drive that has the KNOPPIX image/MyDSL extensions on it.
2) Booting toram off of a one-partition flash drive without the frugal bootcode. (I believe)
