Other Help Topics :: auto-load myDSL app at startup

Hi all
again, here to boring u with pointless question -_-

i downloaded and installed an application (firefox) using myDSL Extension Browser
downloaded .uci file into /home/dsl
loaded it from right-click-menu -> myDSL -> firefox

btw, when i reboot the machin, it does not "auto-load" firefox. i need to go into MyDSL Extension Browser and manually load the .uci file

how can i do "the trick" of auto load it??

ty for help

Put the extension in /mydsl or /mydsl/optional on your boot device (or have a look at the wiki).

thanks for quick response :D

i found no /mydsl directory, btw i found a .mydsl file where a directory is specified... and the directory is /home/dsl -_-

[edit]
dunno why, but now it work :D
ty

You need to create the /mydsl and /mydsl/optional directories - at boot, everything in the former will be loaded automatically and everything in the latter will be added to the left-click menu.

really...

it worked with firefox

then i tried with XFree86.dsl
does not load
does not load
does not load
...
dunno why, dunno how, at last it loaded
woot, cool, \o/ and double \o/ , it work
reboot
now it's not starting: unable to load module or something similar
i had to restart with xvesa, and reload manually xfree86
BUT
it does not load anymore :\

ah, and i tried to do
# mkdir /mydsl
# mkdir /mydsl/optional
then i cannot copy here XFree86.dsl 'cause "no space left on device". unluckily, i got more than 512 MB free -.-
