Other Help Topics :: Ext2fs warning
Unable to get rid of the single line at boot "ext2fs warning maximal count reach etc..."
Ran e2fsck also with -p and -f.
Running e2fsck with no options reads "clean".
This line started appearing about a week or two ago.
Dsl 3.3 toram frugal lilo.
Thanks.
What's the maximal count? Maybe it could be set to a very low number.. (see hdparm)
Just a random guess...
hdparm /dev/hda3 reads multcount=16.
Is that it?.
oops my bad, I meant tune2fs ... don't know why I put that ... (it's monday)
Try sudo tune2fs -l /dev/hda3
Thanks 'thehatsrule'.
tune2fs results (partial):
filesystem: clean
mount count: 17
maximum mount count: 35
check interval" 6mnths.
My question was how to remove the one "Ext2 warning maximal count..." line that appears on boot screen even though e2fsck states "clean".
