I'm following the instructions to get Python. First thing after the download is to run ./configure. Okay, so I do that and it does a lot of checking for ____ ...no

Then finishes with "configure error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH"

Huh? MyDSL doesn't have a C Compiler or my PATH isn't setup right?

A little help, please and thank-you, for the newbie.

Not sure what I did, but I guessed.

I downloaded gcc.dsl from the System area of MyDSL. Reran the configure and it ran fine.

Better to be lucky than smart, I guess.
