Hi folks...

Questions retracted. I am ready to buy a machine to dedicate to embedded Linux aboard a global voyaging sailboat, but I have been unable to get either email or forum response to my (admittedly entry-level) queries about DSM configuration and applicability to an always-on low-power 12-volt environment. I need to choose a platform and LCD now, at least to get system packaging done before we launch the expedition this summer (most of the code can happen enroute).

OTOH, if I simply posted in the wrong forum here, will someone please nudge me in the right direction?
