I have a Via Epia ME 600 with 256 Mb DDR RAM and DSL instaled in a 256 Mb CF with CF to IDE adapter.
After boot the free memory space is very low. When I use firefox with the java plugin (a web page with applet) the firefox window disapear (no free memory).

The ramdisk where DSL is copied is 48% full. How can I reduce the ramdisk to maximize the free memory??
