Other Help Topics :: Why does EmelFM refuse to open?

After I enter "XFree86 -configure" in a root shell, EmelFM refuses to open when I click on it like normal. I then have to reboot in order to get it to work again. Why is this? THIS IS SO ANNOYING!!!!!

Are you entering "XFree86 -configure" from a terminal window with X already running? If so, I think you need to exit X before using this command.
