Other Help Topics :: Cheatcodes
There are 3 kinds of "cheatcodes"
(1) There are generic kernel append codes. You can probably find them on the tdlp web site. If not, try searching google. for kernel append codes
(2) There are knoppix cheatcodes that are also supported by DSL. Not ALL knoppix cheatcodes are supported but some are. Just remember to replace "knoppix" in the command with "dsl". For example: "knoppix nosmp" becomes "dsl nosmp".
(3) There are a few custom dsl cheatcodes. They are documented in the "F2" menu and nowhere else. If you cannot find a computer that has a keyboard with a working F2 key, then it looks like you are SOL
I suppose you could follow the Create a DSL Boot Floppy FAQ and make up a boot floppy. Then open up the floppy in Microsoft Windows and read the contents of the F2 menu file.
Good Luck.
I use "knoppix restore toram" . That way, I can use XMMS, and play music cd's.

Rapidweather is not able to do much forum posting lately, as he is re-roofing his house. Looks like that is taking a lot of time, he is only 1/2 through now.
