Other Help Topics :: Any way to update ALSA sound driver?

I run DSL 4.x and on some of my systems the sound dont work.
This happened on PUPPY LINUX also untill 4.1 and up RETRO.
The change was a ALSA sound driver, a newer version.
Does DSL use that and if so anyway to upgrade?
