Other Help Topics :: Need HOWTOs on basics of DSL installation



Hello Linuxians :) ,
I'm rather new to linux, spl DSL.  So I was much interested in trying something that works off a CD.  So I downloaded the DSL 0.7.1 iso.  But I couldn't find any directions of kind "what next " on neither DSL site nor the forum.  Causing me to remain in the dark?  So It would be kind, if someone help me to become part of the linux club.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well I am just as new!

What I did was put the CD in and reboot. DSL takes it from there. Was a  piece of cake.

Just make sure your bios is set to boot your PC from CD BEFORE you HDD.
