Other Help Topics :: PPP settings
I am running DSL 0.6.3 direct from CD and am impressed at the speed with which it operates, especially on the web with dial-up.
One question: Is there some way I can save my ISP's dial-up settings to a file on my system's hard drive, so that I don't have to enter them each time I boot up?
Thanks,
Sure, read the getting started section of backup/restore. I think the /opt/ppp settings are already in the default filetool.lst. That file is what determines what get on the backup. You can select where to put your backup. This is also on the control panel program.
