Other Help Topics :: If boot is a floppy image how copy rest of files?

I don't understand one thing about DSL and other distros alike.
They always instruct to make a boot image out of a floppy image. As a result Windows XP states my USB Drive as being a floppy. How do I copy the rest of the files?
Thanks.

Just copy like to floppy

I mean the files won't fit. 64MB to 1.44MB
ok i think u are misunderstand what the boot floppy image is, the file ends in .img in this particular directory and its 1.44 meg in size im asuming ur using windows so get a copy of "winimage" yea its sorta free think its shareware and write the disk from that. yes select the file with the program then write disk "make sure u got a blank disk in ur drive" hey now u can boot from that floppy.
