Other Help Topics :: Help me
Hi all !!!
Sorry for my stupid questions but this is the first time I try to use a linux os.....
I've just burnt an image of the damnsmalllinux OS on a CD.
First question:
I changed the boot of my pc and now the boot is set on CD.
The system seems to start and then a "boot" message appears on the screen......
What do I have to type in for starting up the OS ?
Second question:
What do I have to do to log off and shut down the system?
Thanks in advance for any help you could give me !!!!

No question is stupid-
1st When you see the boot screen- hit enter- the Live CD will start to auto detect the hardware and load.
To shut it down right click on you will go through the menus to shut down. Apps - system -shut down or reboot- and the messages will come across the screen- unmounting filesystems and my systems opens the cdrom and says remove CD rom and reboot.
Sorry not sitting in front of the Linux box I t may be a little off on the location of the shut down location. Or you can open a shell screen and as super usr - type in reboot.
thanks for your help !!!!!
