Printers :: Updating gimp-print

can you update the gimp-print for dsl. i have a epson stylus photo r200 printer and i want to install it. but there is no supporting drivers in the gimp-print drivers. gimp-print 4.2 has the driver for the printer. if you can update the drivers, how do you do it?

well ,i found TurboPrint for linux, which also has support for my printer. i downloaded it and unpacked it. went to install it, but it says i must be logged into root to install. how do i log into root in x to install this program?

Choose Xshells -> Root Access -> Dark
