Printers :: problems when printing "ä, ö, ü" in Abiword

Hello, when printing the letters ä, ö, ü there appears a space between the letter and the following letter on the sheet.
Additionally the space to the following word is cut off.

In Abiword everything looks fine!

I do not know whether this is a printer problem or an Abiword problem.
