Printers :: EPSon Stylus C66

Greetings all..

 I have an epson printer that is a USB inkjet.. and I have been unsuccessful at getting it set up on DSL.  I did go through the aps filter/drive set up thingy.. but I have not had any success getting it to fly..

Any help in getting this to work would be gratly appreciated.

Also I have to say that I dont really care for this version of printer set up.  the old version ( for me personally) was considerably less hassle.

Thanks..
Mark

Read this thread. It may help you.

Well actually the issue starts a little before that,

 I dont even get a test page that will print. I have tried multiple drivers.

 I only have 1 usb port and this is a THinkpad 770. ( If that helps).

 Could you recommend settings within APS that would fix this issue..

 I needed this for my tax info.

 Thanks !

Did you try one of the drivers under the gimp print option 4? Those drivers worked fine for my stylus printer. I think there is a driver for the Stylus 60 series of printers. Let us know.

Chris

Yes, you are correct there is a driver for the 60's series printer for Updated EPSon.  I used this selection. when I couldnt print a page from there, I tried a newer one.. that failed as well.

 I will try the GIMP option as soon as I get home.  and just in care your curious I did have the print queue button selected in the control panel :)    possibly the device selection I was using is incorrect as well ?

Thanks for your help !

Mark
