Printers :: Cups.dsl kills mice!
After much tussling with getting cups and OO to work on my laptop (via the sourc files).
Someone suggested cups.dsl, installed that. But when I came to start cupsd, my USB mouse locked?!
When I leave X i get various errors saying it want possible to reassing an address to a device?
Anyone else had this?
[update]
Moved the printer to the primary USB hub on my box (onboard) and used a PS/2 mouse. Cupsd started happily and I could get to the admin screen. The USB mouse worked if I went back out of X and redid xsetup.sh.
To double check I rebooted the box (with USB mouse back in), upon starting cupsd, the mouse locked again
Also, I can only assume to save space, most of the printers arent listed. Ive copied over the .ppd fie for my laser printer which is working on the laptop (apt-get install of CUPS). The printer is listed and I can setup it up in cups admin, but it wont print a test page. Is there another driver file/s I'm missing?
[note]I'm using a HDD install.

After a suggestion by ke4nt, I added the cupsd start line to bootlocal.sh and alls well! The USB mouse works in harmony no problems now.
Now the fun begins, got to work out how to add the filters and file for my Samsung so it'll work!
[EDIT]Still not luck with getting the printer going. Got USBview.dsl, the printer is listed, but when I click on it the information panel goes blank and the USB mosue locks again Went out of X, but this time there were no error USB messages [/EDIT]
