Printers :: CUPS & Canon BJC-4200

Hello, i too downloaded the CUPS for configuring my printer..

The only problem is that in CUPS Canon Models list there are only BJC-3000 and BJC-4300 but the one i have (BJC-4200) isn't listed.

I tried the test-page with setting the model to BJC-4300 but it seems that the models are more different than i could have imagined. It printed only some strange characters into the corner of a paper..

Could there be a driver for BJC-4200 aswell?

All suggestions are welcome.. Thank You..

Perhaps that printer is like so many Lexmark printers. A die-hard winprinter.

I had no more success than you finding any success stories with it and CUPS.
