Apps :: huh?

hello everybody, im getting used to damn small linux. i already have it on my harddrive, but i'd like to customize it now by removing some of the icons and removing some of the programs. can anyone help me out?

also if anyone could help me add dsl to the lilo

it's on a partition, i just need to know what the lines are to add to /etc/lilo.conf in order to make it recognize lilo. thanks
