Apps :: AHH help! linux noobie!im gunna cry

I download firefox 1.5 but I cant install it i dont even know the first thing to do I sell all this tar.gz gibberish whatdo I have to do to setup this thing on Damnsmalllinux?!?! I want to learn but I dont even know where to start do I need a special decompiler? Cmon every had to be a beginner at something. SOMEONE HELP ME PLZZZ

If you have the latest RC of DSL, then the Firefox that comes with it is the best one to use with DSL.
no need to download and install anything else.

You know what? your the best... the only one who cares about newbs ,but I just found out that firefox is on DSL preinstalled on my own and I installed it and everything is okay! but can you please help me with this alien thing! what command would I use to open the .dsl version of the the alien .rpm to .deb converter so I can install limewire?

You dont seem to understand man, Im really new to lnux I can download that .dsl thingy but how do I decompile/open/run or whatever to it? its back to the basics for me
