Apps :: Noob: install from rpm file possible?

Can someone tell me the steps to install an .rpm app file in DSL? Thing is, I have a registered copy of TextMaker that I paid for with SuSE 10 that I use on my other PC. Just need to know how to install it in DSL. Thanks.
