Apps :: Desperate to install JAVA!
I've tried almost everything to get java to work on firefox 0.8, which was included with dsl. In the tools section firefox even says 'Javascript Console', but when I try to vist one of my favorite sites that use Java it says I need to get the Java plugin. I know that there is a tar.gz version in the repository, and I triedto gunzip it, but that led me no where! Do I need a newer firefox version or am i missing something incredibly simple like a '-k' or something after gunzip.
Thank you in advance,
mike
Please use the tool for loading extensions, mydsl-load.
Open MyDSL panel, then click system and choose jre*. I think It's also located under UCI...
ok thathatrulse the java file in the repository is a tar.gz and the mydsl load does not work with that
zucca I think you may be talking about a version of dsl-n , becuase I dont see jre option on my version (50mb)
It is somewhere there... I've installed it.
Wait til I get back home...
