Apps :: Uninstalling[Permenatly] programs

Ok here is the scinareo:
I have DSL installed to a thumbdrive, I love DSL by the way.
Now I need to permenatly remove any programs I don't want. This means from the actual image...How do I do this? Is it possible? Do I have to remaster something? Please give me the steps.
