Apps :: How to open a program?



Right click on the desktop to get a menu.

Click on "System."

Click on "Control Panel."

Click on "Xvesa."

Click on your choice of screen resolution.

This should give you a nice screen with icons, does for me at least.

Just as an after thought.  Are there any tar error messages during the boot process (can't write to filesystem)?

Not that I recognize.  I'm still making the typical newbie mistake of attempting to write to a drive that I have not yet mounted.
System stats,etc doesn't exist on my DSL.
Anyway,thank you all.
I'll try to burn another DSL version. syslinux.iso
