grab the qcad.uci, transfer it to the machine that's not connected, then click on the mydsl icon then click on the bottom bar that say's local load(something like that) then just wait till it installs(in this case mounts) if there's no icon on the desktop right click> mydsl>qcad
uci is a special extension for low ram machines such as your's.note: the UCI extensions are mounted, like a CD, so it will need to be remounted each time you reboot.

Why use Linux if you don't want to know? You will find that in many cases you will NEED to learn at least a little about what's under the hood in order to accomplish what you want to do, particularly in a distro like DSL which comes with 0 documentation and very basic config tools.
