Apps :: Add netcardconfig as desktop icon

I created a desktop icon for Netcardconfig, but it launches as a process, but never shows the interface. Anyone know why?

I know this is an old post but I'm surprised there were no replies. Did you set the icon to launch netcardconfig in a terminal or to simply execute netcardconfig? Try:

aterm +sb -T netcardconfig -e netcardconfig

It works fine for me on my icon and in my menus. I've done the same for icons/menu entries starting and stopping firewall, SSH, etc.
