Apps :: QSSTV For Hams

I am a ham radio Op and would like to install qsstv which is one of the applications available in DSL. The doc's help shows it needs "QT" to work. I don't see QT in any of the applications to add. I would like to know how to install this qsstv for DSL. If a ham can return information about this subject that has it installed, it would be greatly appreciated. Detailed list on how is best as I am a NEWBIE to Linux and have no idea as what to do. Where to find QT and load it into DSL operations is a needed information plus as well..

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Answer: qsstv

Well... You would think so.. I download the App but it won't run.. It states in the doc that it needs "QT" to operate but when I try to run the App it's not working.. I don't know where to find "QT" Humph.. Real big TOO BAD.. HELP ME PLEASE AS I WOULD LIKE TO RUN IT.. Too dumb about Linux to figure it out.. I am willing to learn..  As we all had to start somewhere. Thats why I wanted to start with a small version of Linux (DSL) to start.. Thanks to anyone who wants to help.. If you can set it up yourself and get it to load and operate maybe you can help me.. Hope so.. I have downloaded some of the games and have no problem to get most of them to work.. So, not to far away from understanding the operation.

the .info doesn't say anything about anything else that was required - that's why I assumed that they were included.
If you get it running, please post how you did it.  I downloaded as well, but can't make it run.  The install puts an icon on the desktop, but won't load.  When trying to start from the shell, it comes up with qsstv: error while loading shared libraries: libXft.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Thanks
