Apps :: Flash Player

I too installed adobe flash 9, and yes it crashes frequently, but an even more annoying problem is the lack of sound for all flash films.

At both youtube.com and newgrounds.com, often times a movie will play fine but their won't be any sound!> This is all with flash 9 and Firefox 1.06.

Any thoughts?

See the requirements - are you using alsa?

Uhm...not unless it comes with DSL, which I assume it does not. I checked the repository, but Alsa has a bunch of listings. Which one am I supposed to install?

Read the info files and see. It looks like alsa.dsl is the most recent.

My hunch is it's going to take a lot more than alsa drivers...
