I've added a page this morning to my blog with a few basic ideas for how rox can be used effectively with DSL. I focused on pinboarding, which I think is it's greatest strength. It's not exhaustive, but maybe someone will find it useful.
In the past I and several others pushed to move to Rox-Filer.
I have one DSL machine with jwm and rox and it is preferred by most who are comming from Windows.
Thanks for sharing.Rox icons don't necessarily work the same as those in .xtdesktop. A link to a calculator program I wrote in TCLTK works perfectly when loaded from an icon in .xtdesktop or from a command line. When loaded from ROX, however, it breaks after the first calculation. I have no idea why, but it does the same thing consistently.

I'm curious how you set it up. I haven't had that kind of problem with bash, Tcl, or lua scripts.I'm just clicking on the app icon in the /home/dsl filer window. The program loads, but won't calculate. Clicking an icon linked to the same path in .xtdesktop loads the program, and it works fine.
