Apps :: How to install Python-2.4.4.tgz?

I am a newer in GNU/Linux world, i want install the python interpreter on DSL v3.3, i alread tried many times, but i can't get nothing... =[

Somebody can help-me?

I don't know about 2.4.4, but you can get 2.5 for DSL here:
