Apps :: k3b problems

k3b never makes it to fruition. Can't find dcopserver. no ice authority; K3b worked in dsl 1.4 and I wasted 1.4 and installed 2.0 on partition and when i installed k3b the problem arose. cant't find mime type. It is looking for dcopserver somewhere in the /home/dsl directory. Any help would be appreciated. Gcombust is great for burning iso's but k3b is the tool for multisession for me. . Marty
