water cooler :: google adsense

Hey, i was just wondering...how much does anyone here make from adsense??? Just thinking, i have a web page out there somewhere, and i want to advertise it...but dont want to spend alot of money, would the adsense nullify the google adwords, therefore making it kinda free advertising???
