water cooler :: need more ppl on the irc

there do not seem to be many ppl on the irc (at least not when i am on).
go to #damnsmalllinux or use the link in the fluxbox menu.

heh, i'm there quite a bit, but the last day or so my high-speed connection has been down.

having to use netzero in windoze...

It's hard because the traffic there is so light. How long can you "hang out" doing nothing waiting for someone to join? Look how many posts a day we get on the forums.

I'd be up for a DSL night. Pick a time we can all agree on and then meet there. Or take shifts so if you go there is always someone there.

Who knows, maybe if more people hung out there, those times people would stay awhile instead of popping in and out.

do you now what settings i have to make to get nIRC #DamnSmallLinux ( i know the ip values to use just not if and how to set them)
