The browser Opera has a built in RSS reader. Try the opera801.uci from the extension library.

Is there a Mailwasher type spam filter available? ie., one that will actually check and delete mail on the server without actually downloading the emails?

I notice most email progs have built-in spam filtering, but this occurs after you've actually downloaded them from the server.
