USB booting :: Making /mnt/cdrom read-only?

At the moment, I'm stumped.

I just booted my *.iso virtually with the

fb800x600 base norestore

command and after boot I open an xterminal as root and type:

mount

and get

/dev/scd0 on /cdrom type iso9660 (ro)
