USB booting :: USB Boot Warning/Error Message

When I boot my USB-HDD copy with a few extra applications to the standard USB-HDD, there are a long list of recurring messages:

Something like ...

usr/sbin/filetool.sh : Line xx bin/usleep : permission denied

There are a few hundred of these that scroll past. Any ideas to resolve.
