USB booting :: qemu DSL on USB stick

Hi All
I've downloaded DSL embedded with QEMU, it's on zip file and i extracted to my USB stick.
I tried to boot with USB stick plug to Host Computer, and it works fine.
The question is :
I have LAN, can DSL embedded join the workgroup or domain? since it only plug to host computer run from USB stick.
