USB booting :: Installing to a laptop

Hi I have a laptop that has no internal cd-rom or floppy drive. I wish to insall DSL on the hdd, but I cannot get it to boot. Can anyone help me?

I want a floppy img that will tell it to boot from the usb cd-rom, if that makes any sense?
