USB booting :: Boot Issue

ive booted this on my thumbdrive using dsl embedded and the syslinux.exe commands. it worked once i downloaded some games and tried to boot again and it will not bring me to the desktop, it loads perfectly fine but will not show the desktop it just sits there help or could you show me other distros
