USB booting :: Is there a way.....?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to clean my pendrive atm .... on boot I get Grub 17 error from an old distro install...

I have got DSL to go on pendrive no problem but on boot I get the above error

Is there a way to wipe clean pendrive completely ?
