USB booting :: Knoppix file for boot and embedded

Actually I've just found a thread here that suggests you can boot from a pendrive as long as dsl-embedded is working on it.  That's not how I did it though.

My steps were:
1.  Unzip the Embedded zip file into the pendrive.  Rename minirt24.gz to minirt241.gz.
2. Boot Livecd and choose install to pendrive USB-HDD from the menu.  When propmpted, pick Update so that files are overwritten but the drive is not reformatted.
3.  Edit dsl-windows.dat and dsl-linux.sh to change references to minirt24.gz to minirt241.gz.
4.  I then used these instructions to ensure the correct syslinux.cfg is read each time.

I'm sure there are better ways and I still haven't sorted out how to share files between embedded and bootable but hope this helps.
