USB booting :: I cant boot from my Ipod
Hi, i downloaded the damn small iso
But when go to apps->tools->make usb, i cant because my pendrive is not mounted. (i cant mount my pendrive ipod shuflle, how mount the pendrive?)
ok, then found this guide http://wiki.debian.org/BootUsb but when all the process finishes, and boot my pc, appears this message "could not find kernel image"
i try with the damn small iso , and with dsl-embedded (in this case, i copy all files)
Where is my error?
(sorry for my poor einglish)
Thankz
I belive it's because iPod uses something non-stadard file hierarchy... Or at least I've heard and read something like that.
I was able to do so with my Creative MuVo nano.
when connect my ipod i see this "USB-FDD"
Hmmm. In a pop-up message?
no, it appears when reboot my pc.
you can explain how "burn" the pendrie with damn small ?
