USB booting :: usb boot via grub

hi

i have extracted dsl onto my usb stick and installed syslinux on my 512 mbyte usb device..it works fine on my laptop where i can configure usb boot in the bios but my desktop machine bios doesnt support usb boot..now i have grub installed on the desktop machine because of an installation of kanotix and now i'd like to know what lines i have to add to grub in order to get another menu item that boots dsl from my usb stick
can you please help me,
thanx
martin

You can copy the kernel and initrd to your hard drive, and add the default frugal boot section to grub, but with added boot parameters (such as fromusb, or fromhd=/dev/sdXx)
